Population displacement

Population displacement

Evicting the population from various parts of their ancestral lands and their properties has been a continuous phenomenon since the Derg military regime in 1970s. These eviction and displacement of the population has continued unabated today. Recently between 2013 and 2017 over 400,000 Amaras and over 600,000 Oromos have been evicted from their ancestral lands. We are extremely concerned about the destiny and rehabilitation of  the displaced people of Ethiopia.
